At least, they used to play. Now that they’re older, he’s more likely to join their studies or weapons training. But as long as Princess Daphne is there, Raoul doesn’t care what they do. Because he gets along with her brothers, but she’s his best friend. And a girl.

And he’s noticed. 

This short story is a companion to the novel Curse of Silence: A Retelling of The Goose Girl. It is set seven years before the main story.
